There are two big things left to do this semester.

The smaller of the two is a paper for my International Business class.

The bigger is the project for my capstone class. I'm the Project Manager for that. The whole class is one big team. This is such a PITA it's not funny. I don't have much leverage to get people to pull their weight. I may have to start taking Brody Dog to class with me and unleash his Leaping Black Lab body checks on them!

Brody just might be the incentive the slackers need. Wishing you the best on the project!!

I graduate one month from today (5/21)!

Just finishing up homework for the night. Back at it again later this morning. Soooooo sick of homework!

I got invited to an awards ceremony from my school. I suppose that means I'm going to receive some type of award. No idea what it could be as I didn't even know the school gave out individual awards. Maybe its for being the bestest SwiftDog?

Hey, tomorrow (technically today now as it is after midnight) is Record Store Day! Gotta try to get to the record store at some point tomorrow. Vinyl goodies are to be had by all!

Happy record hunting. May the days pass quickly and the end to all homework. Give Brody a hug!

Any records you are looking for Swiftdog?
Will you be totally done with school next month?

The one specific Record Store Day release (a live Thelonius Monk album) I was looking for I couldn't get. I may check out another location tomorrow or next weekend to see if I can grab it.

I did pick up a Mission of Burma (Boston based post-punk band from the early 80's), live Raconteurs, and a 12" single of live versions of the Halloween and Escape From New York themes performed by John Carpenter and his live band :listening_headphones:

There weren't a lot of releases this year that I was really interested in. I do enjoy checking all the records out in the store, though. It's much more engaging than cruising iTunes for downloads.

I will be totally done with my undergrad degree next month. I'm debating on continuing on for my MBA. Most of my professors are pushing me to apply. It's expensive though. There is a 20% tuition discount if enroll in my current school's graduate program. My work will cover a generous portion of it as well. However, I have already exceeded the yearly tuition reimbursement allowance for this year. The earliest I could start would be next year. I'm not sure I want to sign up for another two years of school.

Good for you! - maybe take a little break from school and work for a while? (in regards to your post above about another two years of school?)

LOL!

They emailed and snail-mailed me! Bell was one of the first chancellors of my school so they named their honor society after him.
