If I post and wish everyone well or post a song about God, it will make people mad.

I am not one of those religious fanatic person that thinks that I should "condemn" people because
they don't believe in God.

I also learned in life, sometimes we have it hard and we go through struggles.

The tears we shed, and the tears we lose.

There is one thing we all have in common: We are all human.

People talk about freedom of speech, and I try to write about love, and yes
I spaz out sometimes just like the rest of us.

But I learned that because I believe in "God" it angers people.

I also learn about "Buddha" and it angers people.

I will keep learning more and more and get educated on life, and not
so in a "school".

Sometimes I hear a gospel song and if I post it, people sometimes feel offended.

What I really do know in my heart, if someone is "truly" a religious person,
that means you are more "compassionate" and should be extending your hand
to those that are helpless in the world.

People fight over the stupidest things on the internet, when in fact,
we all know there are much more important things in the world.

I have written in other places that if people are so worried about
things I believe in, let me take you over to Portland Maine, where
I go a few times a week and let me show you the "homeless" and
the "hungry"

I see this where people really are and where I am originally from Boston,
it is there too.

In America it is all over, yet when you believe in something that
you believe in your heart is good, how could it be so bad?

If believing in something, is helping one's self to be a better person
and to try and want to do good things in this world, is it so bad?

I'm not worried if people don't believe.

I have learned there are really solutions out there in the world.

Yes I maybe be a simpleton, but have been doing my own homework.

Now I am indeed not a rocket scientist, but here is a few things I think of..

All the trash in the world.
Why can't we just convert it all into fuel because then
it would help heal mother earth and clean her,
plus I think maybe cars, even the car companies would
make big profits because everyone is always making tons
of trash...but who am I to say, I'm not that smart to know how
to do that.

Even with the homeless, I been viewing on youtube, little
tiny houses that have a bathroom, shower, and it maybe
small, but it's like 3000 dollars

I also think of this...now please be respectful..
Now I know people get aggravated about the system..the welfare system
but you know what would be good?
They should invent jobs and a place for people that are on welfare
to help take care of the people's children, so those
people could help better themselves and work their way
up in the world.

I know not everyone thinks my way and I ask that people, please
be respectful with answers and don't disrespect anyone with your answers.

These are real problems that I see, and I honestly don't like any
politician at all, because all these parties, democrats and republicans
and all these party systems, sit back and blame each other and yell
at each, but nothing gets done.

I know there's a joke somewhere, where if you put all
politicians on a boat and ship them all to an island, what would happen,
the world will be a better place.

There is so much that goes on in this world and even though I might
go on about films and such.

I even wanted to give a speech at the United Nations building
about racism and other issues, but I didn't get picked for this contest,
but who knows?

Maybe as things get together for me, I know that when you do
have a "bigger" voice people listen.

Maybe someday, I might not be able to change the whole world,
but make help a little bit with more sunshine break through some clouds.

Those that feel at the end of their rope today, hang in there.

Try to think of one tiny thing that has made you happy in your life.

Better yet go to your mirror, and this may sound strange;
look at yourself and make the biggest goofiest grin.
Sounds Strange, but it might turn your frown upside down :)

The picture is a picture I actually took on my cell phone where
in Portland Maine, where people go that done much and I think
that is where there is a community kitchen and around there
I think a homeless shelter.

I can't imagine posting anything about God (or anything really) would anger people on this site. This place seems to be one of the most laid back message boards I've ever come across, I don't think I've seen it devolve into name calling or trolling once in the 2 months I've been here.

My view on anything is that as long as a person is respectful and doesn't aggressively impose their views on me then I'm open to hearing whatever they have to say. I have friends that stretch across every brand of faith you can name, from Islam to Wicca to just about everything in between. Tampa is a weird melting pot like that I guess, their are so many different types of people here and they bring their faith with them from other places. Santeria, Palo Mayombe, you name it and there is a gathering place for it around here.

Be true to yourself . . .and you are not a simpleton. All my life I've been considered . . .many things.
I am even a very unlikely member of this Board and I can tell you that I'm more tolerated than liked. But, I'm a good being and I believe in God and I always will. I've learned that no matter what you believe in or what you do . . .there's always going to be an adversarial critic to challenge you. . .so be good in heart and be good to others and be true to yourself.

...sure, there are people who will disagree about anything, just because they can-but never fear posting here, even if once in a while you have to defend your viewpoint...I will say, in the interest of post size to worry less about separate paragraphs and just type....

Not to sound too bitter (but it probably will) it's just that I posted something someone disagreed with - and yes, it was on this message board. His response was to tell me I could kiss his *ss and then he deleted me forever because I brought a fact to light, one that had directly to do with Stephen King and his essay 'Guns.' Stephen King really did say and believes the things I mentioned from his essay, which in reality was only two things but saying so was enough to make this guy go all 'A Clockwork Orange' attitude on me and delete me forever.
Which is his right. I only mention it because I don't understand why the very first time someone disagrees with one thing that you think, lots of people online delete you forever. Do they do that at work when someone says something they don't believe or dislike hearing? I don't know but I'm sure they don't do it where I work. I have to put up with all kinds of things in person. Why is online so utterly different that even the first and tiniest thing becomes something worthy of deleting a person forever?
It's happened to me so many times I have no idea what even keeps me coming back unless it's plain stubbornness and I'm not sure that's a good thing all the time.

...I never claimed that some of us can't be asshats from time to time...I've certainly been guilty of it....and the facelessness of it makes it easy to be all big & bad...
