    Matter?

I posted a quote from this short story in another thread yesterday and referenced it as being from Grey Matter. Later, I thought I would have some fun and read the story again. In my paperback copy of Night Shift (the one with the I Am The Doorway cover - 1979 printing?) the story is entitled Gray Matter. Being the curious type I checked on this forum and the story is titled Grey Matter. I don't have a copy of the hardcover edition of Night Shift so I can't check that.

Just thought it was funny. And my beer tasted a little funny................

Spidey posted in another thread that
Gray is the American spelling, and Grey is the UK spelling.......I think

I use them interchangeably. I'm diverse like that

Probably should be Gray not Grey for our purposes but like Sunny, I tend to go back/forth with the a and e when I write it.

"GrAy" is in the book, so that's correct (in this instance). I mix them up all of the time :) I might remember which is which now, with Spidey's spelling rule in mind.

That'd be better if it was "GrEy with the E is English". 'Cause, you know, Europe has a multitude of languages. (As does the UK, technically, if you include Welsh, Irish Gaelic and Scots Gaelic. :smile2:)
