My name is Bill. (In group therapy chorus... "Hi, Bill")

I've been reading Stephen King for nearly 30 years now and find his work to be fascinating. I am particularly drawn to the short story collections because they afford me the opportunity to get my Stephen King fix in what little time I have available. Of course, the novels are excellent and I consume them as time permits. I used to have the original 6 book Green Mile installment set (nice gimmick, by the way) along with a significant number of hardbound and paperback books. My favorite collection is still Night Shift and my favorite novel is Insomnia. (Any movie plans for that one???)

Unfortunately, our family recently experienced a house fire and we lost everything. I can't complain as our family escaped to safety, but the are some possessions lost that do sting a little. I guess it gives me a chance to lighten the load, so to speak. At least I still have some Kindle copies. :)

Well, that's my story in a nutshell. I'm glad to be part of the group and I look forward to interesting dialogue with you.

Take care.
