Grudges require too much energy for me, they don't come naturally to me. I crave harmony very highly. I tend to let things slide. I'm getting better at standing up for myself as I age but I still don't find carrying negativity around to be beneficial. There are exceptions of course, when it comes to crossing my kids all bets are off!

little things are forgivable. if someone does something just really wtf and won't back down from it, i wouldn't say i hold a grudge, but i'm also not afraid to drop em like a hot potato.

cutting someone off isn't really the same as actively holding a grudge if you become indifferent to them, based on their crappy behavior. of course, forgiveness is always on the table, but most of the people that have done me dirty enough to get dropped aren't the type to ask, so it works out. also hasn't happened with anyone i'd say i was especially close to, so there's that.

Well, Srb, ol buddy, we got our Dukkha. Then, we got:

Samudaya
Nirodha
And, last but not least,
Magga.

Learn these truths, grasshopper, and yer on yer way to the eightfold path. Or on yer way to Google. Whichever comes first.

Just talkin Buddhism, Srb. But don't listen to me--what I know of it comes from National Geographic and old Beatnik books. Derf.
