I usually can forgive but still have trouble trusting that person again. Iam always wondering if they are doing something behind my back.
Are you a Scorpio? ooops - sorry - make that "Are you a Leo"?Yeah, I carry a grudge. I may act fine in public but secretly Im plotting revenge.
...I have "degrees of grudges"....meaning I will get cheesed at some folks, and eventually things will sort themselves out-others are forever, and I have sworn to piss on their graves......

Closest I get is simply avoiding people I don't much care for. I try not to hold grudges. Try to walk that eightfold path, cats. Most noblest of the four truths: all life is suffering. I try not to suffer too much.
Alcohol helps. What were we talking about?
Hahahaha...
What are the other three truths?
Well, Srb, ol buddy, we got our Dukkha. Then, we got:
Samudaya
Nirodha
And, last but not least,
Magga.
Learn these truths, grasshopper, and yer on yer way to the eightfold path. Or on yer way to Google. Whichever comes first.
I have Irish Alzheimer's. It’s when you forget everything except the grudges.

Grudges require too much energy for me, they don't come naturally to me. I crave harmony very highly. I tend to let things slide. I'm getting better at standing up for myself as I age but I still don't find carrying negativity around to be beneficial. There are exceptions of course, when it comes to crossing my kids all bets are off!
little things are forgivable. if someone does something just really wtf and won't back down from it, i wouldn't say i hold a grudge, but i'm also not afraid to drop em like a hot potato.
cutting someone off isn't really the same as actively holding a grudge if you become indifferent to them, based on their crappy behavior. of course, forgiveness is always on the table, but most of the people that have done me dirty enough to get dropped aren't the type to ask, so it works out. also hasn't happened with anyone i'd say i was especially close to, so there's that.

and that little segment about Buddhism from Tina Turner's autobiographical move called "What's Love Got to Do with It"?Just talkin Buddhism, Srb. But don't listen to me--what I know of it comes from National Geographic and old Beatnik books. Derf.
