I've always preferred Grease 2 to Grease, which a lot of people find kind of weird. It was one of my favourite movies as a kid, I guess I just carried it over in to adulthood. Give me Rex Manning and Michelle Pfeiffer in stilettos over Olivia Newton John and John Travolta any day.

Two movies i watch over and over and over and over: "Forrest Gump" and "Saving Private Ryan"

and, of course, "This Is Spinal Tap" :D

but my guilty pleasures?? I really LOVE psychological thrillers - among my favorites are "Cube", "Exam" (love this movie!), "Primer", "Moon", and "Memento", etc just to name a few

My guilty pleasure movie..."Joe Versus The Volcano". :cool2:

We double-dated with another couple to that one. Grandma and I thought it was quirky and fun enough, but when we came out, Alpha Male said what a waste that was.

The next one we tried was Frankie and Johnny. That one was a waste of an hour and a half, more or less, for us all. We never double-dated to another movie again.

Guilty pleasure. Oh, yeah. Speaking of Lady and the Tramp. The scene with Trusty under the rig and Jock howling gets me every time.

I am a big fan of the movie 'Signs' but I am fully aware that a lot of people don't like it, in fact flat out hate it. I was having a looong discussion with someone who just couldn't believe I enjoyed it as much as I do. I argued it was a success at the box office, that it got a decent critical consensus but I've not really met anyone who likes it.

I have a few other films like that but it got me thinking, do you guys have any guilty pleasures in either books or films that you know are not universally popular but you love all the same?

I have seen this movie more than once, and I hardly ever watch a movie a second time, no matter how good it is (except The Wizard of OZ, which I watched several times as a youngster...it was aired before Christmas every year.) but I loved this movie, especially the scene when Gibson and Phoenix are running around the house...laugh my arse off every time. M. Night Shyamalan's best flick...after The Sixth Sense.

People always make fun of me for loving musicals. Probably you guys understand?
(I saw Grease 11 times in the theatre when I was 14!)
I love Grease! Nothing to feel guilty about. And neither are any of the other other musicals.
