You must be from England with your proper cuppa tea, and all.
It's on youtube in parts. Not familiar with The Stuff. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
It's against the law to hail in New York City. Not at all. Born in former USSR, but hailing from NYC. My vivid (or sick, according to my wife) imagination drew me a picture of Mr. King and I sitting in red felt chesterfields by a fireplace with a massive mantel and talking literature. Naturally, the next thing that came to mind were tiny cups of tea in our hands and pinkies of the hands holding the cups sticking out.

Do watch Bill and Ted. I promise you won't be sorry.I haven't seen Bill and Ted and don't know if it's one the critics pan, but My Cousin Vinny is well thought of. It's one of my faves anyway.
Reminds me of The Princess Bride and the Dread Pirate Roberts: "Sleep well and I'll probably kill you tomorrow."Cabin Boy, with the estimable Chris Elliot.
It's terrible.
In fact, it's so terrible, it's wonderful.
"I shall leave you a cabin boy, and return . . . a cabin man!"

Absolutely great novel. Good movie too."That went of for five years. Goodnight Wesley. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning. It was a wonderful time."
You can do a lot worse than The Princess Bride, my friend.
Absolutely great novel. Good movie too.
Hollywood has served Goldman well. There's Magic, Marathon Man, No Way to Treat a Lady, all great movies from Goldman novels.Yes . . . a rare combination. My freshman English teacher recommended this to me and I simply adored it. Imagine my surprise, years later when the movie came out . . . and I adored that, too.
That (as King fans know) does not happen very often.
Men watch that movie for different reasons (and all the wrong ones too). What about Showgirls?
What are the right reasons to watch it?Men watch that movie for different reasons (and all the wrong ones too).
