Well, yaaaaaaaaaa-uhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I did get to meet him at a book signing! I was all atremble!
You must be from England with your proper cuppa tea, and all.

Not at all. Born in former USSR, but hailing from NYC. My vivid (or sick, according to my wife) imagination drew me a picture of Mr. King and I sitting in red felt chesterfields by a fireplace with a massive mantel and talking literature. Naturally, the next thing that came to mind were tiny cups of tea in our hands and pinkies of the hands holding the cups sticking out.

It's against the law to hail in New York City.

Reminds me of The Princess Bride and the Dread Pirate Roberts: "Sleep well and I'll probably kill you tomorrow."

"That went of for five years. Goodnight Wesley. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning. It was a wonderful time."

You can do a lot worse than The Princess Bride, my friend.

Yes . . . a rare combination. My freshman English teacher recommended this to me and I simply adored it. Imagine my surprise, years later when the movie came out . . . and I adored that, too.

That (as King fans know) does not happen very often.
Hollywood has served Goldman well. There's Magic, Marathon Man, No Way to Treat a Lady, all great movies from Goldman novels.
