Great news Neesy! Glad it all worked out for you.
We just went through a similar situation here at work and I got to keep my job. Only thing is, I was actually hoping to get laid off as I will be leaving in a few months anyway when we move to California. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have a job, it's just that getting laid off with a severance package would have been a nice way to transition into the next phase of my life.

Thanks Marsha! Yes - it was thanks to Andy that I chose to maintain the status quo (gee that sounds a wit wordy) - I did not even look at any of the jobs they had posted on the wall as I realize I've got it pretty good right where I am at the moment.

I would love to live there. It seems like paradise. I have a friend who's a firefighter and lives in La Crescenta with his family. .
