I love cottage pie - that sounds so cozy and homey right now.

You take a cottage and chop it up into bite-sized pieces, and boil them down. Boiling time will vary depending on the toughness of the cottage. Then place them in a mixture of hot water, sugar, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, poured over a pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Pictures look like what we call shepherd's pie.

You take a shepherd and.......

Hohoho - you are silly.

I only knew what cottage pie is because Andy calls it that (what we call shepherd's pie).

He is weird - he calls ham "gammon steak", eggplant is "aubergine", zucchini is "courgette" etc. etc. It was tough at first understanding him due to his Scottish accent, the fact he is soft spoken, and different slang expressions, etc.

After 10 years I am finally coming around!:semi-twins:

I actually really like Brussels Sprouts. I buy the frozen bags, but since you can see through it, I feel to make sure they’re small in size, because I don’t care for the larger ones. I microwave the bag, then put it in a saucepan over low heat with loads of butter, and salt and pepper to taste. YUM!!! Yes, I’m sick that way. :)
I don't know what to think of a man who likes Brussels Sprouts, but hates Daisies.......
