Okay. If some of you remember, I had a great costume planned. But unfortunately, the universe conspired against me and brought down a leak under my sink that has been occupying my time (and yes, I took a little side vacation.)

Anyway, this is what I was going to do.

I recently purchased a beautiful, almost new shriners fez. A California group's emblem on it. All these gems and that beautiful long tassel in it's own handmade box. I was going to dress up like a shriner. I was going to build a little cardboard boxcar -- totally decked out shriner like-- and I was going to fly a Shriner's Children Hospital flag from it.

It would have straps so it could just rest on my shoulders and the piece de resistance, glued to the underneath side of the car was going to be baby doll arms and legs, some would have candy glued into their palms, but all would be mangled.

I'm sure some Shriner would have beat me senseless, so probably best I didn't get to make it and wear it.

 I just had to Wiki "Shriner"...

Picture this only with baby arms mangled under the tires and underside of car. And shriner's always throw candy. So the baby hands would have candy glued to them. And they fund The Shriner's Children's Hospital. A fantastic organization dedicated to helping children in need.

Oh Deej, girl... the way your mind works both impresses and scares the sh1t out of me!
(Y'know... I just went to see Gone Girl last night at the flicks, so maybe this is influencing my thought process?)

Edited:

I hope you know I was just messing with you. :a11: :biggrin2:

 I'm sorry Dana Jean. When I scrolled down and saw the image I automatically pictured the baby doll legs and arms (hands holding Halloween candies) you had mentioned in your earlier post. I then read your post underneath. I had it totally in my head!:biggrin-new:

Thank you!

Happy Halloween!
