I looked for this pic all week before giving up...then today it came up as a facebook "memories" notification.
Pretty sure it was 2006, but I could be wrong. All I know is my daughter's costume was the epitome of my creative talents. Made from a large box, posterboard and topped with real popcorn (she smelled buttery!) no one was shocked when she took home the prize for "Most Original".
And this was long before Pinterest.

I agree, not silly at all. If I'd posted a recent pic of my girl I'd have covered her face too out of concern for privacy. The members of this board are great, but the general public worries me.
I put the family cow costume on my puppy (she turns a year old next month). She was not amused.

I went as a chef for the work costume contest- even made cookies as bribery. The only picture I have is a group one and it is on my work computer, so I can't share it here.
