.....I am an agnostic at this stage in my life, but to all those of any particular faith-I wish you peace, joy and a resurrection eternal of happiness....

We always try to have an Easter thing. It has more to do with a rabbit laying eggs than a religious experience. But the kids always enjoy the egg hunt, and we all enjoy the food and libations.

This year, it's different. I'm going across the big pond on a last-minute assignment, no one's really prepared, and the kids, now latter-teen teenagers, are losing the charm of the egg hunt. We're all still up for a Big Meal, but I'll be gone, and the steam has gone out of the gathering.

I'll report back to the family in a coupe of weeks. Until then, Happy Easter, everyone!!

For those that don't believe, take a deep breath of bright, blessed air, find a happy trail to follow, lead family and friends down it to an open field and lay out an Easter picnic just the same. As for me, I'm going with the Resurrection Day theme:

I could not understand all of that, but what I did understand had me cracking up! That is one adorable kid !

Safe travels, Grandpa!

Happy Easter to everyone!
You would have to listen to it over and over, several times - she has quite a thick accent (and I married one of those Scottish people!) :eek-new::facepalm::nope:

I understood every word! :biggrin2:
But then, I suppose I talk a little bit funny too... and the fact that I watched a re-run of Trainspotting a couple of nights ago, might also help.
(I totally just read this post in a Scottish accent in my head.
Love me some Ewan McGregor...)

Grandpa: This is a lesson we all must cope with, nothing stays the same but we have those older memories to cherish. Please have a safe trip/
