Seriously?! You do that every day with your duels with the folks on the political threads..and I also trapped a couple woodchucks,or ground hogs, whatever you want to call them..very simple to release just common sense..
The politics threads thing is simply just masochism on my part. :) I take no chances with skunks. When I was young, my dog was sprayed and it was my job to deal with it. Nothing I ever want to deal with again. The only remedy to dealing with a skunk in my opinion is distance or death. The the large Haveaheart trap accomplishes neither.

I have too,had to dispatch several rabid skunks at the job,and people would not believe how eye wateringly strong the stench is even twenty yards or more away..but the havaheart is just what I used, you just carefully drape a tarp over the trap and then you can handle it with no problems, the animal won't spray..i caught four of them I think, and you just reverse the process and they wander away..pretty easy actually..just think of it as defusing a bomb, and it goes simply..:icon_eek:

Haha right...the first one is the hardest, then it seems easier.I always approached on level ground, from the direction of the closed trapdoor, and never had a problem. And,you get the benefit of not smelling the dead skunk in your neighborhood for the next week, and seeing it wander away safe and unharmed into the woods is its own reward..
