Going to see Taxi Driver in 35mm on the big screen tonight. Coolidge Corner After Midnight series sure does rock!

Saturday consists of taking Chief Brody Dog for his first vet appointment and doing the usual weekend errands (grocery store and such).

Sunday is a BBQ at SwiftSis's place. Bringing the Brodster to meet his ginormous German Sheperd cousin. Seriously, my sister's dog is like 120 lbs. The thing weighs more than she does!

I will be SwiftDog chillin' on the actual holiday. Will also be doing the annual viewing of Jaws and Jaws 2!

Yes, yes. Enjoy your day. Bloody traitors. :D
(I won't hold it against you. We've grown ourselves a new batch right here, after all. ;))
I like the scene in The Great Escape, where Steve McQueen is talking to the British Officers, and they ask him how the Americans are getting along over there(America)without us,they look at each other, like,no connection or shared ground here! It was funny..

I work at a grocery store 7 miles from house ( average commute time 15 - 20 min ) but I go in at noon through heavy holiday traffic which will take 90 minutes, work 8 hours with customers who will be holiday grumpy / agresive, drive home through even more dense traffic for 2 - 3 hours. :smile2:

Behind you
I really miss a real 4th of July. I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday.

What - like when our parents used to dress us up in red white and blue , hand us a little flag and wait for the parade of firetrucks and boyscouts and Brownies, and Veterans to march by?

Mee too. We got a ride on the fire truck after.

Small towns. :encouragement:
