Hello all,

I'm very happy right now, because (if all goes well) in march of 2015 my wife and I will be welcoming our third child :)

I can also use your help: for our other two children we used parts of songlyrics on their birth cards. A song called 'zelfs je naam is mooi' (even your name is beautiful) for our daughter and 'with arms wide open' for our son.

What part of a songlyric would you recommend? We like rocksongs, but feel free to recommend whatever please you :)

Hey, congratulazioni, Angelo! Molto bene!!

-Here are some thoughts....I'm not sure what kind of rock or pop you like, but there are some great lyrics out there, even if you don't like the song very much. I'm not necessarily attached to all of these songs, but I recognize meaningful lyrics when I see/hear them...

1. From The Riddle - Five for Fighting:
I guess we're big and I guess we're small
If you think about it, man, you know we got it all
Cause we're all we got on this bouncing ball
And I love you free
I love you freely

2. From Beautiful Boy - John Lennon:
I can hardly wait to see you come of age,
But I guess we'll both just have to be patient

3. From Kooks - David Bowie:
Will you stay in our lovers' story?
If you stay you won't be sorry 'cause we believe in you
Soon you'll grow, so take a chance
With a couple of kooks hung up on romancing

..and then, if you've decided on a name for a girl, there are all the "name songs" in English, mostly for girls....
Sara - Fleetwood Mac
Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac
Joanna - Kool & the Gang
Liza Jane - Vince Gill
Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
Amelia - Joni Mitchell
Sarah Maria - James Taylor
Vincent - Don McLean
Cecilia - Simon & Garfunkel
Barbara Ann - The Beach Boys
Maria - Blondie
Michelle - The Beatles
Laura - Frank Sinatra (okay, not rock, but vintage in a great way)
