Has Stephen King ever had a writer's block?

It might sound like a dumb question, taking into consideration the amount of books he's written in his career, but I was just wondering if he'd ever struggled with a particular story or with the absence of one... He may have addressed that question in On Writing, but it's been a long time since I'd read the book and I no longer have it.

Some of his short story collections have snippets of information at the end of each story to explain how he was feeling when writing certain things. I know it's the case in Everything's Eventual, if you're interested you should check it out because I'm very sure I remember him explaining his writer's block on finishing certain stories in it. I can't quote an exact story though, you're going to have to do the legwork yourself.

I think he had some difficulty with The Stand,at some point,I forget if it was in On Writing or where I read that, but he was taking long walks at that time,I believe he was living in Colorado then..anyhow,am sure he had roadblocks at several junctures, but luckily for us he soldiered on!
