Hello all. I'm in the middle of trying to inventory my books, (mostly paperbacks) and it seems I have a pile of extras/doubles. I'm betting some of you do, as well, so I thought this thread could act as an exchange. (I'm glad to ship first, of course, being the new guy.)

Not sure exactly what I've got, but I see a spare copy of 'Black House' and about a dozen others, maybe more.

    Whatcha got to swap?

Thanks, and kind of you. :)

Yeah, call me crazy (OK, yer CRAZY! ba-dumm-tshhhh) but I tend to grab nearly all I find in the wild. We have 7-10 Goodwills as well as several fleas very close by, and I raid them regularly. Last Saturday I really scored big - 10 hardcovers and a pile of paperbacks I'd needed! (YAY Danse Macabre!) I just can't bear the notion of great tales like these languishing in flea market bins, ughhh. :(

Also, I have a decent amount of Koontz books on the trade table, as well. (I gave a few of his books an honest shot, but meh, I just don't dig him....not feeling his vibes/writing style.)

Oh me too! I love to thrift for books - getting a hard cover for $2.99 thrills me.

Sounds a great idea, but living over in the UK, pretty sure you could buy a copy of what ever I might have a darn sight cheaper. :)

Is it costly to ship to over here?

Not sure... I shipped a copy of my cd to the States, and I reckon it was about 5 quid. So a book i'm guessing'd be more. I know when I enquired regarding one of Shasta's hubs t-shirts, it priced it out the market for me...

International shipping can be costly, yeah, but not hopeless. :)

I find it tough as nails to let go of even extras lol. Most of my extras are different editions, the only true Extra I have of the same edition is " The Tommyknockers ". Some people only really want one edition, some want as many as possible.

I don't know if this is appropriate, but I'm looking for an advance copy/proof (if it exists) of Mr. Mercedes. I have not even heard of anyone who has gotten a copy.

I do, Alec. I believe I have spares of:

    Nightmares & Dreamscapes
    Different Seasons
    Night Shift (my favorite)

I'll have a FULL list of what I have for offer, very soon.

Technically it's not appropriate as the ARCs are meant for reviewers only but we both know what the reality is. We just got a box of them a week or so ago but not sure if they've started going out to reviewers yet.

Why do some have to ruin it for others--- to receive an ARC is a privilege, not something to be placed on ebay or such for profit.
