I like-was it Beverley's?- about going in the bar and all the patrons were Stephen King. I had another which I can't remember, I wrote it down somewhere, but I think it involved him and me walking around Newcastle pub crawling. I have to check it out.

The other dream involved Stephen King and me walking up to the hobby store in Newcastle to buy some model World War 2 planes. We then were walking in this abandoned wheat silo place, and then ended up at the Easter Show where Stephen King left me because he wanted to go on some rides and I said I didn't and he said 'OK' and left. I walked around eating 'battered savs' and came back, but he was gone.

Battered savs?? @Hammerstrom - check out the link below - there is a pretty funny video narrated by two Aussies, talking about "battered savs"

Yeah, Roy and HG. They used to have a show on the radio called 'This Sporting Life.' I also love 'Pluto Pups' which are basically the same as battered savs. I also love fish and chips, hash browns, scallops, large spring rolls, hamburgers with the lot, and strawberry milkshakes. I was looking at this recipe site online, and I wanted to make a prawn dish in a type of stew. They mentioned some dish called 'Chowder' and they said something about this being 'the' dish of the New England region of the United States. So I'm going too try and make it.

This is a hilarious question. No, I haven't and I don't think I'd want to, it would probably be really scary.

This question reminds me of the scene in Mr. Deeds where Adam Sandler said that SK was the lone celebrity to be seen near Mandrake Falls. Lol.

This isn't quite the same, but close(ish)... if my kids aren't behaving themselves, I tell them they'd better sort themselves out, or I'll ask Marsha to get Stephen to write them to death.
(They're mostly teenagers, so no need to call CPS out on me.)

I love seafood chowder - it's great! (I could do without the clams, though - a bit chewy).

I had a dream last night where SK and I were hanging out in a mall, but most of it was deserted (I have NO clue why, but I have frequent dreams about deserted--as in closed down and out of business, wrecked--malls and they always freak me out) and we found a little store that sold all kinds of records. He bought me like thirty records, haha. And then I woke up.

First one last night. SK was at my house to watch a game (? We don't even watch any sports!), but I wasn't home. First thing I found out about it was on Twitter when he mentioned he missed most of the game because he spent most of the time trying to fix the drain in the bathtub. I was embarrassed, but pleased that my ancient copy of IT was on the edge of the tub, so he would have to know that we really do like him in these parts.

Minds are sewer grates for the weirdest stuff...

I've never had it. This recipe says you put vinegar in it. I think my father used to make something similar. It says something that there is a 'Manhattan Chowder', and the New Englander's turn their noses up at it.
The Manhattan version has tomatoes in it. New Englanders feel why in the world would you want to ruin a perfectly good clam or seafood chowder by putting tomatoes in it?! ;-D
