I had a dream not too long ago. I was at a book signing. (I have never been to a book signing)

There was some sort of ruckus. People were rushing him.

I was in the back.... I just remember calling out.. SKMB! SKMB!! I am one of the good ones!

I would never ever do that in real life.

Ms. Mod came and got me... she was like an angel ~ And I was safe. And SK smiled at me.

Stop judging me ... it was a dream....:facepalm_smiley:
Or was it?????????????? :)

I've had three dreams featuring Stephen King. I remember details of only two of them, but all three were nice dreams. In one he and I were walking along. I don't know where we were; on a beach or sidewalk. The only view of him was chest up as he talked to me. The sun was bright next his head, and, though his face was difficult to see, I could see that he was smiling. He was wearing a short-sleeved, light blue, light weight, button down shirt. I remember no sense of what we were talking about. Afterward, I was impressed that my first dream of sK was so entirely non-scary.

In the second dream, we were in a room; all, I'm somehow inclined to write, of "us" were in a room. There was a party-like atmosphere; we were celebrating, but no occasion other than being CRs. sK came in, walking down a set of concrete stairs (the place had walls of stacked concrete blocks, like one of Frank Lloyd Wright's prefab homes), chosing to recline in a stainless steel and black leather lounge chair, which faced away, party-ward, from a fireplace separated from him by a few miscellaneous pieces of gray upholstered furniture. He was wearing a broad smile, his horned-rims, a pair of gray jeans, and a gray T-shirt which had on its front a logo stenciled in black. Everyone was talking, including him, and the party became more festive.

Speaking of appearing in peoples dreams, there's these guys in MN, I think they're sort of a spiritual religion group, they are called Eckankar. Their leaders are called Eck masters and supposedly one of their core beliefs is that those who practice the discipline are able to appear to each other in dreams, but for real. Like, the Eck masters spiritual self will allegedly appear to your spiritual self in your dream if you just work hard enough on your spiritual technique.

If the Eckists beliefs in the realities of the dream world are correct, maybe Stephen King really does appear in some people's dreams ;)
Maybe in Tabitha's!

Lol. So it's short story collections? I always first imagine what people say literally. So I was imagining a special secretary who is always there when SK wakes up to write down his dreams to put into the books. Lol. Imagine what Stephen King must look like in the morning... The King of Horror! Lol.

He has Marsha, his personal assistant for many years (aka Moderator) but I do not think she is in charge of his dreams - maybe more like his wife Tabitha :biggrin2:

Yes. I was in church, Stephen King was in priests robes and he was holding a huge bell. He told me to go and see my doctor. Strange or what!! Dreams are so odd, but seem so real at the time! It was very vivid. That was such an odd dream, but they can be like that.

Faithful to her King.....
Have you ever had any SK dreams? Yes.,too many to recount. Usually it's around the time a new book is released or if I'm going to a book signing and I'm stressed about what I will say to him. How do you convey to Stephen King how much his work has meant to you over these past 30 years.... in mere seconds? It's impossible. Thanks just doesn't cut it. So.... my SK dreams are usually one of two things: me at an event being kicked out because I lost my ticket(The Horror!) or me and Uncle Stevie chatting it up while he signs a book or two or my entire collection. :excitement:

ha ha, like it. Yeah, it was creepy very. Lots of sludge in my dreaming mind, I guess!! Just been reading Christine, love that book. Just bought myself a car too, as my old old just gave up the ghost, new one is a very ordinary, boring Nissan Primera.......old, blue, but in excellent nick. A Trademe job...doesn't play nothing but the golden oldies...lol. In fact has a tapeplayer, no CD player, a time traveller from the 1990's...!! When I get rich I plan to buy a classic car...I hope!

The Manhattan version has tomatoes in it. New Englanders feel why in the world would you want to ruin a perfectly good clam or seafood chowder by putting tomatoes in it?! ;-D

I wish I loved Chowder. (In my head, I am trying to say Chowder in my best New England accent, but I am failing miserably) I would take the Seafood, but not the Clam. I agree that tomatoes wouldn't sound good at all to me. My brother-in-law lives an hour from Maine. I saw the sign for "All Maine Points" on the freeway, but haven't got there yet. I always crave lobster and seafood after visiting his house for about a month.
