I've listened to the DT series numerous times on audiobook. Currently listening to 11/22/63 and I'm lost in it, such a good story.

Such a warm welcome by fellow King fans. He is my inspiration, as I am an aspiring writer. I could never hope to reach his degree but with hope, luck, an insain amount of hard work and determination, perhaps one-day I will be good.
I don't think I'm very skilled at writing, but I try cause I love it and my imagination likes to create a world to live in. Lord knows the drkving world is boring enough to warrant it. Have you ever thought about using a voice recorder so you could dictate your story while you're driving (consider that your first draft) and then polish it later when you've reached your destination? There could be some danger in that, too, though if recent studies are true about driver distraction. I guess that would depend on your ability to multi-task.No I only write when stopped and the CB doesn't work, yet.
