Hello from a longtime fan in Colorado

Hello all,

I'm about a third of the way into Mr. Mercedes and I'm loving it.

I enjoyed Doctor Sleep, despite the fact that I'm one of the few people who never really got into The Shining (the book or the film). I listened to it on audio while commuting - Will Patton did a fantastic job narrating it.

I've read every novel SK has written and I'm looking forward to the day when my daughter is old enough to give him a try, though she's in Little House territory at the moment. I think I might start her on Firestarter when the time comes.

I watched most of the first season of Under the Dome, but didn't really get hooked. I think I have all the other episodes on my DVR. Is it worth continuing?

Consider Eyes of the Dragon for your daughter first. Castles, princes, dragons, sorcerers… my kids all started with that one and love it. Mr. King wrote it for his own daughter, so there you have it
