So I find this SK forum and I'm like-- /shrug/ why not?
So it makes me create an account, no big deal--I fire off the email I need to and I'm almost on my way out when I realize that there's a thread just for 'The Stand' and I think to myself. . .hey, I like The Stand, I've got time.
You see, I don't play around on the internet often. I read, I do homework and research, but I've never actually engaged in message boards, forums or chats. But what the hell, The Stand is one of my favorite novels! So I find a 'fav characters' section and I take note that no one comments on L. Underwood's awesome character development and I decide to add my two cents.
I am incapable of just writing a quick 'Larry rocks
', so instead I write out this paragraph of why Larry does indeed, rock. I finally work up the courage to click 'submit' and what pops up? A little window telling me I have to come here first!
It's been a long night.
Rant over with, my name is Chill and I just wanted to ask the moderator a few brief questions and tell people how cool Larry Underwood was (at the end, gods help me I wanted to strangle him in the beginning). I didn't plan on sticking around.
That being said, this place seems kind of neat and all you people seem real nice too. I might visit from time to time.
