Help...I have a mental block

So I started reading Revival and part of a story from I believe from another jumped in mind but I can't remember book or exact story line... A guy in a bar sells lightning rods for roof tops and can't recall if the owner gets it and it saves the place or doesn't and lighting does destroy it... Please help its making me nuts
