Oh wow! I didn't realize it was that urgent! I'll try to be better.
....Tom whitewashed a fence with help from a dead cat he was stringing along....Huck is running guided raft trips on the Mississippi....and Ole Yeller is still dead....
So, life has been full of boyhood adventures, and banned in libraries from time to time?
Old Yeller made me cry and cry when I was a kid, then I saw it as an adult and cried, then read the book and cried. I'm a big cry baby! Give Aunt Tracy a big hug for me?
Hi Hipmama-- good to see you. Sending along some healing vibes. Stick around, we miss you.
Thank you, Spidey! You always make me feel better!
Hey sweet Mama! Good to hear from you! Sounds like good work your doing. Hang in there! ((hipmamajen))
Good to be back! I hope it's good. We don't find out usually how things go afterwards, but a lot of times you know just from now the conversation is going that they're in a better headspace.
Good to see you back. You have been missed? How is Bonecrusher doing?
Hi KFF! More Bonecrusher information with the next reply, but thank you so much for asking. <Giant Proud Mama Smile>
...when we got to meet him in Colorado....he was poifictly hyuuuge......
Yes, Baby Bonecrusher is even huger (is that a word?) now.
Torleif turns 5 in August. He's all set to go to kindergarten in the fall. It starts 2 days after his birthday (on my birthday, wah my baby is growing up!)
He knows all his letters and numbers, and is reading books with words that are mostly phonetic. None of the other kids were interested in any of that at this age, so it's been a real trip.
Dey you is! Welcome back, hipmama...this place is still here, hasn't burned down. We took away the matches from Muskrat. GNT and danie are on probation from speeding in the Ka Tet, and Spidey has been keeping the sign in the window, lol. Everyone else is in therapy.
I commend you on your volunteer work. My family has been marked by suicide three times. You are saving lives.
Doc, I am sorry to hear that. Suicide of a loved one is a special kind of grief, and having it happen that many times is quite a lot to carry.
Welcome back! From the land up north of ruined flower beds and broken trees.
Hello again, Grandpa! Yeah, can you believe this mess? We have a cottonwood tree that is too weak to live, but too stupid to die, and we've been chopping up fallen branches for days.
Jen!
So sparkly, just like you!
Good to see you, luv!!! You've been missed!
Thank you, KRF. I missed you all, too!
