I think I have got myself together again. I will not say I am sorry for anything that I said or did. I don't feel that I have to. I am not going to let some people run me away.
I was, and still am going through a tough time in my life right now.
Nothing can be done for my eyes, so I am trying my hardest to accept that.
I felt like no one but my husband understood what I was going through a few months ago. I won't go into detail about that either.
What's new in my life? Well, we had to take the cat, Oreo, back. She was just not fitting in around here. It has been 2 months, and I am fighting with the woman who runs the rescue over my refund. She has lied to me over, and over about it.
Kaden has to get glasses. He is there now picking out his frames. He had to be moved from the back of his class to the front, because he couldn\t see the blackboard.
The dog is driving us all nuts! She has chewed up the bottom of both kids beds, and she chewed up Kaden's pillow. She chases Bethy to no end. No matter how many spankings she gets. She is always into something. She has really grown since we adopted her. She goes to be spayed the end of this month, and we are hoping that may calm her down a bit.
Karen got handed a job offer, that she is going to take. She starts her new job next week. She will be working at a near by library. They wanted her because she speaks Spanish. A lady that works at the library heard her talking to someone in Spanish, and offered Karen the job.
Karen is getting run to death at the store lately. They call her all the time to come in early, and cover for whoever is not showing up for work. Plus she is working evenings, and hardly gets to see her kids.
At the library, she will be working 3 days, and off every Sunday to start with. She is liking that part of it.
Kat is sick again. She has been out of school all week. Her fever goes way up in the afternoons, and she is coughing like crazy. She has been to the doctor twice this week. Waiting now for blood test results, and x-ray results. This kid is always sick. We are hoping she will grow out of this sooner or later.
Went to a pow wow on September 10th. I could not see any of it. I was so upset, I just started crying. Karen recorded a lot of it on my phone for me, and when we got home she uploaded it, so I could watch it. It was amazing! Got to try the fry bread. OMG! That is heaven on earth!!
That is about it for now I guess. I already wrote a book!

It's good to see you back here. You have been missed!!! I'm sorry about how things are going in your life right now, but things are getting better, right? I have adopted a pure black cat (she has four or five white hairs right in the middle of her shoulders though) and she is adjusting to life with me and my older cat. She just showed up about two months ago, and between my neighbor and I, she was being taken care of but neither of us really wanted another animal but with winter almost here I decided to take the plunge as I just can't handle her being outside in the bitter cold. She likes to be outside during the day but we'll see how she feels once the snow sets in. She does stay in at night and likes to sleep on one of the couch pillows. I never hear a peep from her during the night but once 6 am rolls around she's quite vocal about wanting out. The little girl next door named her Kitty Foo Foo. ;-D I thought she was only 6 months old but when I took her in to get her spayed they said she's already been spayed and chipped and that she's over two years old. Her real name is Elvira but we're getting it changed to Kitty Foo Foo. I called the chip place a week and a half ago and they called the numbers they had on file for the owner but I've never heard back so I guess she is mine.

Congrats on your new kitty! I like the name Kitty Foo Foo!

I agree! Kitty Foo Foo is a fun sassy name!
Being named Elvira might be the reason she ran away
The chip place told me the zip code of the owner and it's up north on the other side of Spokane, so I think she was dropped off. She had no collar on but she was healthy and not scrawny. I think she came from a big litter because she just devours the food I put out for her. She also has been able to catch squirrels with ease so she must have been on her own for awhile. She likes to play with the toys that my other cat won't bother with so she's lots of fun!

Thanks, guys, I needed to hear good things from good people.
Your kitty sounds like a fighter to survive like she did krf. Bethy is a loner. She only wants attention from me for about 15 minutes every day, and then I don\t see her again until the next morning. She stays hidden from the dog all day.
At the pow wow, there was one native American that was the size of Andre the giant! Very scary looking dude! but he could dance! I enjoyed the fancy shawl dance, and the jingle dress dance. The drum sounded like thunder! I didn't expect that! Scared me when they hit it to get the dance going. I liked that they honored all the veterans. Anyone in the audience who had served was called into the circle. I saw on powows.com that the one I went to was on there. They talked to the chief, who was a woman! When did the women become chiefs??
I have seen online that you can order fry bread mix, and just add water to it. I would make myself sick on that! I had a fruit one, and Karen got a taco like one. They had one with butter, and cinnamon too. I wanted a buffalo burger, but got full on the fry bread!
If you ever get the chance to taste it, do it!
Kaden gets his glasses in about 2 weeks. He will look like a nerd! Kat has a bacteria infection. Whatever in the hell that is. She is on antibiotics again.
I do pretty good when I get up in the morning, and it goes down hill after that. When I get my shower, I can hardly see until I take a short nap. I guess the water does something to my eyes.

I really appreciated the card from you. Karen read it to me, since I can't make out the words any more. I could not answer you by mail.
Kaden fixes my insulin for me, and he gives it to me now also. He also reads my mail for me.
My phone is useless to me. I can't see any of it. Scares me to think about something happening to me when I am all alone. I would not be able to call anyone. That bothers my husband a lot. I am not left alone very often though.

Can you get a number programmed in and learn to just push that botton. They also have home phones with large numbers. If you have an insulin pen you can learn to listen to the clicks.
