Hi Deb! That's very sad news about your Mom... but I'm glad your Dad is starting to feel a little better now. Also congratulations on remarrying!
I hope your son is fully recovered soon, you have had a lot on your plate.
Wishing you a wonderful time at the Kon next month. It's nice to see you back here.

Well - I think you'll look better in the T-shirt this year (not that there is anything wrong with orange - lol) I looked like a big fat pumpkin in my "orange is the new black" shirt back in 2014 - you looked much better

HELLO!!
Wow, it's been a loooong time since I logged in here! Longer than I thought. The time has just flown by.
And now I have to see if I can figure out how everything works....it looks so different now.
I think about a million things have happened in my life since I was here last...keeps me way too busy.
My mother was in the hospital most of last summer, and passed away in August. It has been really hard on my dad,
who's kept the whole family running like crazy. He finally seems to be doing a bit better.
Recently, my son has been having a ton of medical issues that began the first part of May. He developed septic bursitis
in his elbow and had to have surgery. It's been a long recovery. The elbow is pretty good now, but other complications are still
giving him problems. He had a pretty severe allergic reaction to one of the antibiotics and is still working on getting over that. UGH!
There's more, I'm sure, but that's enough of my drama...
On the other side of things, I got married last September! Well, remarried.

I have some people here I need to catch up with and apologize to for just vanishing. Life got in the way of life.

I can't wait for the Kon next month! I am looking forward to seeing some of you again, and meeting some for the first time. YAY!

Welcome back! And no need for regrets. The 'IRL' stuff has to take precedence over the goings-on in Cybertown, and it sounds as though your In Real Life has been busy and full. Condolences for your loss and troubles - best wishes for present and future!

Hey you! Sorry to hear about your mom, and the troubles with your son.
I am in stage 5 of kidney disease. So, I won't be living much longer. I am in hospice now also.

I don't have the words to express the sorrow. I wish we could all come by, hold your hands, and just sit and talk. You are much loved, our Friend of the SKMB.
