Thanks for the warm welcome. I tried fixing my age in the settings but couldn't seem to adjust it (must have entered the wrong birthdate) Is there a certain amount of time a newb must wait until being allowed to post in the regular forums?

You can post in any of them now but your posts will be moderated until you have reached a total of 150 posts. That goes by much more quickly than you would think.
