I just finished Finders Keepers about an hour ago. It was a great romp and I really enjoyed it. The only thing I'm concerned about is that Suicide Prince is going to have a supernatural aspect. I hope it doesn't. That's not why I'm starting this thread.
Both Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers have a very serious issue with the bindings. I've gone through the last several Scribner published books and not seen this problem with any of them. On several pages (I mean in like 15 different spots) of both Hodges novels, the glue that is being used has seeped further into the pages than necessary, sometimes to the point of distraction. Generally this isn't a problem, and if it weren't for the fact that I am particularly anal about King novels, I wouldn't bring it up.
Anyway. Just suggesting that a little more quality control is in place for the next one.
Until then.
