The Stand was the book that really made me fall in love with his writing. Though I don't believe it was the first one I read. I first read the Stand the summer I was 12. I'm 19 now and I've read it every summer since. I've had to get a new copy twice.
I love to discuss the themes and events of books, I'm glad I found a place to do that rather than begging my friends to read them so I could talk about them to someone.
