a long story-a few years ago I found myself trapped in England. Fortunately I had purchased On Writing to read on the flight over. There was a marvelous list in the back and a buy/buyback paperback store within walking distance of the promenade. I began reading the list-and when I couldn't find the precise book I made an effort to find something by the author anyway. At some point I found an anthology of various authors with the best werewolf story by someone mr king admires-one character was a sort of repo man who carried scissors to cut up credit cards and he had a girlfriend in a wheel chair that he made a werewolf so she could be free of the chair for a time. I thought a movie had been made of the story but can't be sure it wasn't my own imagination making danny DeVito the repo guy. But I searched for the movie trying to get the authors name to no avail. Could you find out for me? I would love to read more if his work. Maybe have even without knowing it was him. I would greatly appreciate it.

...possibly the novel Big Fish?....but I think that's probably way off base...
No problem. I didn't want to drone on about the plot it was a very unique take on the werewolf genre in the light hearted vein of werewolf in London but with all the scary too.
