Kinda same as GNT. This is part of my train layout. The water took forever. I'm going to add a sign that says "No Fishing " hopefully get a laugh when people see it and see 3 people in there fishing.
Don't really think I'm a writer but I got about 80 pages done on a novel or novella. Not sure yet how long it's Goin end up. Still don't have a title lol

...that's god work man, used to do a lot of work in HO scale when I was a kid....spent more time on buildings and detail than I did on an operating layout though...did a lot of creative work in my rolling stock as well, but without the track they were just "purty" to look at....

Today: it was a way, way back: Rock with You, not my fave, but I do love MJ. I remember roller skating to that when I was 11.

Wow! That's pretty cool. Have you ever read The Poisonwood Bible by Barabara Kingsolver? There's one character in that book - (Adda possibly) who thinks and speaks that way.
Oh, I'm thinking . . .nope, no, wait, I have a few hidden talents. I can juggle three medium sized lemons at the grocery store (source of entertainment for kids when they are little, more embarrassing when mom does it now)
I can tie flies, In fact, served my 4H club proudly. Demonstration day was a serious competition for us and most of the kids in our club chose to demonstrate a horse related skill (properly clean your tack, braid a forelock). I figured I might as well give them something other than the same. Made it all the way to the Eastern States Exposition where they gave me a booth and a blue ribbon. I had to tie flies for two days at a fair, but it was fun!
I can also quote movies (other than Jaws),
recite the Jabberwocky and Marc Antony's Speech. . Yes, that's all.

...Thanks Mal!....no specific action or theater....it's Russian and American troops, with a buried/camouflaged Russian tank, but the American equipment is a mish-mash of years...I went for what appealed to me, rather than historical accuracy....
And now I have more fascinating information about you! That is an incredibly detailed project. Pretty selfless too. My dad would have enjoyed creating something like that.
