Anyone else read this? I actually read this one last summer, but am only getting around to posting about it now.

This was a really good book, although, as is the case with many tomes, the ending might have been a bit better for me if it had been done differently. I won't hold it against the book, though.

What I really liked about it is it focused on the one main character, can't recall his name at the moment (oh no, my memory!), and his struggles (which I won't go into). It was a lot of, if I got the term right, internal narration that made you feel like you were reading a first-person story (again with the memory, but I am pretty sure it was not first person).

Bentley Little is a very interesting author, but seriously, what is the deal with him? I don't mean that in a negative way, but it always amazes me how much of a mystery he is. I guess he isn't, but it always strikes me that he is part of a pseudonymous situation. Who knows. As a bonus, let me say I enjoyed "Dispatch," about the power of letter writing, but again, the ending could have been different.

I've enjoyed several Bentley Little stories, but not this one...don't recall what titles I did read. Is he more appreciated in...say England...than in the States?

That is one of the things I like about Bentley and I have a feeling that he's an introvert. I understand that.

I will read this book because I have been a big fan of his for a long time.
