I would take him to a Cowboys game, and take him camping at the lake... , and sit on the front porch enjoying a cup of coffee...

Of course.. I would have to get him a Romo and a Bryant jersey!! Pics with the team! A tailgate party! oh what fun!
I saw nothing on the news about this here.
Hey! Philly is not nasty, lived in the burbs all me life. I would have picked him up, given a squirt of oil and sent him on his way.
I saw on the news that a bunch of techie savy guys and gals are going to rebuild hitchbot...Bigger, Stronger better(oops that was the million dollar man).
Video has surfaced of Hitchbot's demise....of course it is tied to an Eagles fan.
Alleged footage of hitchBOT’s death surfaces
I've been reading a bunch of posts on FB from local philly magazines/newspapers and thats the new theory, that those guys did it for publicity. Apparently they have their own show starting soon on CMT.Is anyone here familiar with that area? That surveillance video seems very clear for a surveillance video. And it looks made up. I think the guy faked it, afterwards, for publicity.
That is where hitchbot was left, but not exactly where he was found.
You mean, the guys that dropped him off as well as the guy that destroyed it?I've been reading a bunch of posts on FB from local philly magazines/newspapers and thats the new theory, that those guys did it for publicity. Apparently they have their own show starting soon on CMT.
Yeah, the media is wondering now if it was an elaborate hoax put on by these guys that picked him up at the art museum. You mean, the guys that dropped him off as well as the guy that destroyed it?

On another note, my husband and I were talking about the hitchBot last night. I was bummed that if we had only gone a few more blocks on Saturday, we would have seen him. But then I got to thinking, before this happened, I hadn't heard of hitchBot, so if I did see him would I have even paid any attention to him? If I did, would I have REALLY picked up a weird robot sitting on a city street? The answer is probably no.
Just like the earlier pics showed hitchBot at at Red Sox game. How did they even do that? I can only imagine us walking into Citizen's Bank Park to the Phillies game carrying a robot, they would have never left me through the gate. Or am I just clueless and more people knew about hitchBot before all of this happened?
Then I said to my husband, take Philly out of it, imagine you saw him sitting in our town at the mini mart up the road. Would you have picked him up? The answer is still probably not.
