How do you deal with stress?

I exercise my right to cry and then I walk a long long way.

Sounds healthy.

Going outside in the fresh air and sunshine helps. Laughing (if you can find a good comedy). Distracting yourself by keeping busy with something you enjoy - arts and crafts or some type of needlework.

Talking with someone who understand you.

Going on the SKMB and checking out some of the funny posts helps.

Sometimes I soak in a tub with Epsom salts and bubbles - the hot water helps relax my muscles. Aromatherapy - put some scented bath salts in there at times as well.

Reading a good book.

Last resort - take half a tablet (0.5 mg) of Ativan but only if I am completely stressed.

Makes me want to crack open that bottle of Baileys to put in my coffee - but if I do that there will be no turning back! (so think I will keep it sealed until a special occasion pops up!)

Time at the firing range is a good stress reliver as well. Blowing holes through things is always fun

Play a game of GTA on the PlayStation or Xbox and be as virtually destructive as possible!

Swear and curse (inside my head at work, as needed, but if I am alone, I will curse loudly.) I usually feel better after some good talking — to myself!

I fly down to Peru for some fresh Ayahuasca (or Yage) brew, chill with the Shamans, try not to get my head cut off or my revolver stolen. Vomit and repeat. Kinda like smackin yer thumb with a hammer to forget a headache.

Steaming hot bubble bath, a good book and a cup of tea.
If it's after kiddo is asleep, sometimes a glass of wine instead of tea.
