....Swamp Thing????...:near_tears:

I know, right? I mean, every original issue, most in mint--talkin both series'--all the Wrightsons, Moores, the Bissetts/Totlebens/Acalas/Veitchs--all of it. Burnt in a fit of senseless rage.

Re-bought a lot of the Moore stuff later on, much of it in trade PB form, but I sure miss that complete run of the first series. *gag!* Why did I have to be such a fool young punk? All over a spoiled skank who cheated on and ultimately dumped me anyway?

I gots me some comics nowdays, no where near as many as I once had--couple hundred, maybe, lotta reprints and trades. A modest amount, but what I do have is PRIMO. Never too old for comics, cats. Wish my son dug em like I do. He's twelve, and the only comic he cares to read is Judge Dredd.

....I read a lot of the old original Swap Thing's as a young giant and Bernie Wrightson's interpretation was the cat's behind....and give the spawn a break, he could be reading Archie....'sides Dredd "IS the law!"....

Oh, I don't mind him reading Dredd--he has a decent stack of those Eagle reprints they did in the early eighties, reprints of the 2000 a.d. British stuff--snagged em out of the 50 cent box at our local comic shop. But horror? Not my kid, dang it.
