Cold front did make it this far south. 46F/8C, clear skies. 75F for the high. Sunshine abounds.
Still dark here but doesn't look like any s stuff fell. Sounds like the wind is driving the rain pretty hard. Rain/s mix today, high of 43.
That depends on where you live.
There's a weather person somewhere local slapping his or her knees. Forecast a day or two ago was for 10-11" of new snow. Snow is still in the forecast, but nothing as yet. Couple inches fell hard yesterday but by one pee em the sun was back out and it melted off the roads and roofs. Cold, though, low 20s. Guess I best go and turn the blower off...been idling, ready...but a nap sounds better.
Cold and chilly here at 30....brr! At least we are done with the s stuff for now! May you all have drier and warmer weather a.s.a.p.!

Nothing worse than a late s-word.....we only saw a little yesterday, but it's still frigid in these mountains. I demand spring, and I want it now!
It's doing that s thing here again right now. Big, heavy flakes. Thought we might get away with none today, but it started just about the same time the kids got home from school.

The river is reaching flood stage now..which reminds me to caution folks about driving on or near roads with heavy water flooding,they can undercut roads,bridges,everything..
Not 18"...been blowing around so much it isn't easy to say how much has fallen. Local paper records 30" still on the ground, 40" on the ground last year this time, and the total for the year...yesterday...was within inches of the previous year's total: 207.75" Looked out the front window and yes, the grader has made a pass. Must be a bank of bourbon whiskey 'bout 16" high and 4-5' wide so it looks like I crank up the snow-blower in a bit. Oh la. Wind is really whipping. Temp is about 28-30F. Last week we were enjoying 90-degree temps though...down in the southwest. Guess I best get at it.
