My partner would probably agree with your uncle. He was a social worker before he retired and he'd told me that spring is the time when there's more risk for suicide because people have spent the whole winter thinking things will get better but when they don't just because the weather has improved, they lose all hope.
It's been my experience that this is true..and people ofttimes will act like the cows pictured in the attached video..I worked on a farm through high school,and have seen this firsthand,it is funny to watch,sometimes they would freeze in the door and glance around wild eyed,then bolt out into the yard kicking up their heels..and have seen humans act pretty much the same..:grinning:

32 right now, heading for 67. Seems like lawns are greening up very quickly now, and you can just see new buds on trees if you look real hard. Do I dare say it?
spring has finally sprung!

Talked to my dad yesterday and he is going to start planting corn this week, that's the best promise that spring is here as anything. :encouragement:

Talked to my dad yesterday and he is going to start planting corn this week, that's the best promise that spring is here as anything. :encouragement:
