They've forecast some *now...s'posed to start at 4 pm. Heh! I imagine someone in a back room flipping a switch, anxiously keeping tabs on a watch until that time, wanting to get it right. S'posed to get somewhere around 7-9". In your dreams, she said. I don't know nothing. OOBLECK.
The season formerly known as spring continues. The traditional milestone of Finnish weather speculation is the end of April, and the speculation is about snow. Usually in my area, there isn't much in this time of the year, but this past winter was almost snowles and quite warm to begin with. It isn't too warm though, around 0 C in the morning, but got warmer later in the afternoon.
Feel kind of bad for the local "skiing resort" they opened in the winter. The land is really flat in this area, so they built it on an old dump, covering it with soil. But it was so warm most of the winter that there wasn't much business there, and making snow artificially is quite expensive.

Sunny and 15C / 59F When I was outside and did some chores, I had a t-skirt on me. It isn't really t-skirt weather yet, but became warm with the hoodie.

Those remind me of my only visit....when I was 9 years old, though it was in the summer. I just couldn't get used to the sun shining in the window in the middle of the night.
I was frigid pumping gas at 5am, thought I spotted a Polar Bear.

Well on the east coast of England it's raining steadily at the moment, just getting ready for the weekend, it's cold too and the last two days were beautiful, warm and sunny on the radio it said there was an unseasonably deep area of low pressure waiting to sweep across the country.......woohoo!
To tell the truth, I also find it difficult getting sleep, when it's so bright and sunny summer nights, even though I live here.
I've often wondered if they sell sea shells by the Seychelles shore?
New *now on the ground...none stayed on the road, driveway has some, but not the 9" forecast. Started out rain as the temp dropped the rain put on fluffy jackets, down jackets I guess. A bit of wind, overcast, temp just above freezing. Snowbanks are going down and as they melt the black stampsand they toss out winter stays so you're left with piles of black white. Everything looks cleaner now. Can hear some sandhill cranes and geese every morning across the way...fartin' around on the high school football field by the sound of it...cranes against the geese. Night you can hear the coyotes wail even though we're in town.
Looked in the mirror, did ya?
