Hello! And goodbye!
Talk to you soon!
The red maple are the only trees with buds, noticeable buds, big red hooters. This year and last, no leaves on Mothers' Day...we usually have lilacs on my wife's birthday but that seems unlikely again this year. Reports of snow in various locations here in the U.P. yesterday. Seven a.m. and the temps is not quite 40F...rain earlier. (from yesterday)
Buford was a mess when it came to thunder, rain to a lesser extent, the 4th of July (noise), and too, we live within sight of the twin steeples of the St. Joseph Church & when the bells rang, on the hour, or other occasions, all three dogs had choir practice. Buford chewed through three 4x4 sheets of OSB that I placed in between the posts of the attached kennel and the entry door--he'd chewed the brickmold off the door before I began placing OSB there. The pills the vet provided did relax him. The only drawback I noticed is his appearance. His eyes would get this droopy appearance...kinda creepy truth be told...reminded me of that horror flick. Squirm, was it? That white-faced ghoul mask in the black hood? Buford was affected the most by storms, noise, Bailey to a lesser extent, and Betsy not at all.
It's 22C/72F outside and sunny. A T-shirt day. Some people wear shorts already.

Yup - long weekend - three whole days off in a row! Too bad I have swollen glands in my neck and feel like I should probably go lie down on the couch with a hot lemon drink
I have not had a chance to be on here much lately - I need to spend some time doing "catch up" this weekend.
Me neither. Life gets in the way sometimes.
Feel better soon, (((Neesy.)))
Thanks Flake - thinking about making pizza crust right now (see Pizza thread) but it's hard to get enough energy up!
Just dropped in for pizza a short time ago... sounds nice, Neesy... maybe make enough so you can have some cold tomorrow?
Sorry you're unwell... hope you will pick up soon.
Been a great weekend here in the UK, it's been a sunny and blue 24C (75F) both days.
Just right for lounging in the garden with a chilled six pack while re-reading The Shining.
Nice weekend. Beautiful spring weather mixed in with a little light showering, always welcome here in the semi-arid West.
Except when you're trying to paint a house. Grr.
