I had to plug in my Jeep this morning - might as well - I pay enough every month for parking at work!

Getting darn cold here - 21 C but much colder when you factor in the wind.
Old Man Winter will be here in full force soon :onthego:

You wuss, you! Here is Edmonton's weather. Becky got sent home from work early this morning because of it........

10:30 AM MST Thursday 27 November 2014
Snowfall warning in effect for:
•City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park

A long period of snowfall, with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected.

A major Pacific weather system is bringing heavy snowfall to parts of central Alberta today and Friday.

The snow will slowly spread eastward during the day and will continue through Friday. Snowfall totals for this system, by the time Friday evening arrives, will likely be in the 15 to 30 cm range.

Brisk northeasterly winds are also generating drifting or blowing snow in open areas and along major highways.

Behind the system, frigid Arctic air will drop daytime highs well below normal for the weekend.

Snowfall warnings are issued when 10 cm of snow or more is expected to fall in 12 hours or less.

Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please continue to monitor your local media or Weatheradio for further updates.

Let's not play that game Staro! (this is a game I prefer to lose!) i.e. who gets the coldest etc.

Actually I saw on the weather network that Edmonton was listed as one of the five coldest cities in Canada.
Besides now that I have gotten used to my lovely double garage, I am spoiled!

That's also the reason Andy and I both have the four wheel drive option - just so we can get out of the back lane :snowman::smilet-digitalpoint::soap:

Have fun shoveling!
