Not as cold as you, I think. Depending on which source I look at, it was either -13 or -16. I'm hoping they're wrong about the forecast for tonight/tomorrow that has us getting anywhere from 3-8 more inches of snow. Here's what my fence looked like yesterday and if we get that much more, the pickets could be completely out of sight soon.
But what a beautiful picture!

I think I've finally hit my wall with winter. Enough already. This endless cold and snow nearly every bleeping week is getting too much to bear. :(

Looks to me like you have more snow on the ground than we do here. You might want to go out and see if you can attach some kind of marker to the fence posts. The last thing you need is a wayward snowmobile on your property running over it.

Fortunately no snowmobilers come through our property as the snowmobile trail is farther down and they'd know they were on private property before they got to it. :smile2:

That must be one of those beauty is in the eye of the beholder things. ;-D Here's what it looked like at the end of January-different angle but you can see how much snow we've had in February.

I hate the snow but our yard pictures never look that good.our snow was always sled tracks as the kids and the dog loved playing in it. Then of course came sick season. I miss the north.

It's Wednesday, so it must be snowing. Big flakes coming down hard and winter storm warning until 1 PM this afternoon with another 5-9" of snow possible. The only reason I can think of that they didn't close schools is because they're already over on their allotted snow days. Just heard that there was a 40 car pileup on I-95 which is now closed from Newport to Bangor (about 27 miles). No fatalities reported but some serious injuries. Going to be an interesting drive home but hopefully it will end at the time predicted so they'll have the roads cleaned up by 4.

What the flip? The sun is out here and it almost looks like a nice day ahead.

Almost.

Please be safe on that drive home. Protective shield being sent your way. Guess the next picture will be just " a field of snow" and no tops seen on the fence!!

They cancel school, CAT?
;-D No. There is nowhere near the foot required to call off school. I'm kidding about how much they use to decide that, but it is a rare, rare thing. Couple winters ago when we had wind chills below -30 for a week, we still had school. We only have one built in snow day, so it has to be pretty terrible out for the powers that be to use it. ;)
