This morning it’s now reached the point where the snowblower can’t throw the snow above the mounds of snow on the side of the driveway and sidewalks. And it’s supposed to snow through tomorrow. :(

Anyone else want to give a shout-out for Global Warming?

One of the consequences of global warming is more moisture in the atmosphere, therefore more snow where warm air meets cold air.

I keep getting gardening/seed catalogs in the mail and just toss them aside thinking by the time the snow melts and the ground thaws to the point where we could have a garden there probably won't be enough time left in the season for much of anything to grow. :(

I dreamed that when I woke up and looked outside, all the snow was gone. I was so disappointed this morning when really I woke up to snow and no green grass. Pretty sad. 50s next week though, crossing my fingers. It won't look green outside, but a brown, mushy mess — hopefully it's a start.

We got about 12 inches of snow on top of 1 inch sleet last night. Supposed to be -8 F tonight. I'm worried about my mostly outside kitty. She'll come in during the day when it's cold and stay in "her chair" all day. But she won't stay inside at night. We have a little house for her with a 100-watt bulb and heating pad...I hope she'll be warm enough.
