It is always hot in the summer....tornado weather.

I moved to Edmonton from Ontario in 1990 and lived there until 1994 - I found it extremely dry compared to Southern Ontario. I did like to see the Northern Lights when sitting in our back yard up in Lancaster Park - that was nice!
