Going to be unseasonably cold here this evening. Thought I heard temps that were below 60. Couple three weeks ago it was 44F one morning, earlier last week we had a stretch of 90-degree days, then it got windy and the wind cooled things down. No snow! Grass is green but I haven't cut it for 'bout two weeks now...leave it a tad long going into July so it stays green. You give it that butch hair-cut and it turns yellow 'less you put a lot of water on it. Things look better green. Over and out.
It is 7:42 in the evening and still 82F outside. I am sick of this summer.
The Orgone energy is building up today. I got zapped when I opened the car door up. Must have been when they walked past and smiled at me.
Got some rain falling...looks like Mud Lake is on hold. S'posed to clear off by noon or so. Might as well screw off, not do what I should do, send out a fax or two, pester the supplier, I want my two dollars! Clear out of Dodge when the Sheriff shows up. Didn't get as cold as I thought they said. Cue Andy: You ever notice that weathermen...and women...who don't need to be cute to get away with it...can be wrong most of the time and still keep their job? Have one call I didn't get to yesterday. Went and saw this old man I've done some work for. Guy must be close to 90, can barely get around, but he's still plugging away at things, built a longer set of step to get out of the house, said he has to go down the outer steps on his ass. Yes! He said ass. Had a place out Rabbit Bay and he didn't want to move, but his wife is ailing. Golden years, as the song has it. Needs a screen door for the sliding patio door...those things never hold up, hey? Cue Andy.
Had a real bad storm during the night. A place in Virginia had a tornado touch down.
At around 5:40 this morning we lost power for about 10 minutes. Not during the storm though.
I saw some pretty scary lighting. Both grandkids went running to their parents room!

Glad I do not really believe the forecast. No call for thunder and lightning but there it is in the sky.
It's breezed up all the sudden and it makes me want to get a buzz on.
Gonna be hot all week. Severe weather in some parts of Alberta....
