No, but the SO will. :D There's no way I'm using that plow truck! It looks like it's about to snap in half because the frame is rusting and I hold my breath every time he uses it hoping it won't break down in the middle of the driveway so that we're blocked in until we could get a tow truck out here to move it. He keeps trying to teach me how to use the snowblower and I keep telling him thanks, but no thanks. I had hired somebody for years to plow the driveway but SO decided he could do it much better than they did and save us money so now it's HIS job to clean up the snow. I hate to tell you how much he's put into that plow truck but it would have paid the bill for a LOT of winters.

Now....now.......I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Not to worry, but you might want to get the phone numbers of the neighborhood kids who are out shoveling to earn a little extra $ since there is no school........

He is in Florida so if he needed to be in touch he'd do it the same way he always does, by phone or email. He's fine with the working at home--in fact, he was the one that made the policy that if school is cancelled in Bangor or the town we live in because of weather we should work from home and he never complains about our leaving the office early for weather. He'd much rather we be at home safe and honestly, there's not much we can't do at home that we do in the office other than get the mail and any package deliveries but they'll just redeliver the next day. Our phone system allows us to forward the calls to home so even that isn't an issue. Gotta love technology! :smile2:

I'm not sure we have any neighborhood kids of the right age and we've got about a 425' driveway. I think they'd take one look at that and say, no way, no how! I do plan to start asking around about people who plow, though, as I really don't think that truck is going to make it through the next 2 winters after this that we'll need plowing. :biggrin2:

I'll do the plowing if you'll let me use the snowblower, too........:D

Not to be nosy, but if you plan on keeping the place in Bangor you'll need someone to plow you out in case (God forbid) there is a problem at the house. And at 425" I'm sure you could talk Sunny into doing it for a few bucks......:biggrin-new:

I don't see a problem here........:facepalm_smiley:

To be honest I find when I work at home I get way more done than when I am in the office. The trouble is because I am technically the only tax qualified person in house, people constantly come and ask me REALLY STUPID/BASIC questions as an easy option rather than actually looking it up themselves and if I don;t know the answer off the top of my head or it is somethign I need to check I look it up on the very expensive online resource we subscribe to and which is accessible to everyone so they could in fact HAVE LoOKED IT UP THEMSELVES instead of being lazy and watching me LOOK IT UP FOR THEM!

I wouldn't want you to think this irritates me at all!!!!!!! :a24:

Anyway, back on point I get muich more done at home without these constant pointless interuptions!

That's true and actually I had thought about that as I have no doubt my insurance company would not pay up if there was a fire and the fire truck couldn't get to the house. So would definitely have to have a plow guy anyway.

:D I know what you mean although most of the time I'm working in the office by myself as my co-worker and I alternate the days se work at home. I don't know about you but I often put in more hours when I'm working at home because I don't have to leave either to get to the office or return home so forget what time it is and keep on working.

Warning Josh, the weather guy, now. We had better get that snow tomorrow. I am sick of your promises. We have damn spring here in ALberta and we did not have winter yet. I went for my walk today and just wore my fall jacket. I went a couple of blocks and had to take the bugger off. This is not right. We have been shortchanged. Send snow, you bleedin fools!
