We will be getting some rain today and tomorrow, those weather people say. 69 for a high today and tomorrow will only get to 56!
Would love some of the cooler weather.
Oh, that sounds wonderful!! In the high 90's here and humidity is unrelenting. It's supposed to rain here every afternoon, skies cloud up and lots of thunder and then....nothing!!! Thank God for A/C!

we had confused em. Lots of spot fires in the Valley, caused by careless people. Nine bears shot in one town this
week, north of here... They are wandering around town or getting into garbage. Once they get used to people food
they just keep coming back no matter where they are relocated. Such a shame, wish people would learn to use
the animal proof garbage containers that are given to us.

Right now I have nine apples in the fridge but they are from USA - might try my hand at apple crisp later

Weather here is a bit overcast but not too bad - mild temperature and no wind to speak of.
I just filled up the bird feeder with black oil sunflower seeds.

The rain this afternoon has once again cooled the air. I just cut the front yard and grasshoppers and dragonflies are busy looking for higher grass. It's peaceful out here on the front porch. I'm just relishing the last of summer before college football starts and the Pumpkin Spice latte returns to Starbucks.

Believe it or not I will be glad when September gets here too - I have taken a week's vacation from September 3rd to September 11th
