We're going to be warmer than you today! 77 today. But never fear, tomorrow will be in the low 30s for the high and 50% chance of "blustery snow."

Oh dear - it sounds like a very Blustery day!

Had to break out the heavy winter coat yesterday. We only got to about 17 and were supposed to see -9 real feel temps overnight. Not sure if we got there but we had a real feel of 3 at 5 am.

It was really foggy all day yesterday. The trees all looked so pretty with their lacy branches. Even had an iced over spiderweb on my deck that looked pretty.

But, bottom line is, it's brrrr cold!

The expression here for that kind of weather is "colder than a witch's ***" (you can probably fill that in for yourself :wink2:). Hopefully that weather pattern doesn't make it this far east! Stay warm!

Nope, I don't know that expression, what's the rest of it??

;-D Just kidding. And yes, that describes it perfectly! I was chuckling when I was at the grocery store. Walking in there was a young man standing outside who clearly was not from here. He was on the phone telling someone how f'in cold it is here. Then a pause, then, "No. You don't understand. It's F'IN COLD HERE!"

I just chuckled and said to myself, You ain't seen nuthin yet. ;-D

The moon is a waning apple smudged and obscured. Every distant porch light is smudged: faded yellow, faded pink, faded white. The tree silhouettes that are visible in the foreground appear as Indian drawings of black sand, one sneeze would make them vanish. In the medium fog it's so windless that the smallest crackle or leaf tickles the ear. There is a sparrow's nest under the porch eave that I forgot about and I heard the dislodged bird swiffer by my head into the soft shadows. I'm ready for colder nights.

Guess I could have said 'foggy'.
