Write a letter to you mayor. I had an issue crop up and I shot out a letter to my mayor, his second in command, the road department, safety department -- every department I could think of. I sent it in the morning, by that afternoon, it was fixed.

Write your mayor and cc everyone from the mayor, school, the police who patrol the area, the city road department, post office --absolutely anyone having anything to do with this. They have an email address. Do it today. I bet you get an answer this week.

THe high ups don't like to deal with this sh*t. They get it taken care of.

And

these people's names are on the city web site. cc the principal of the school and the superintendent. Post office head honcho and your mail carrier. I'm telling you what, this is ONE thing I am good at. And the more people you include in the initial letter, well, everyone has eyes on them now. When you talk to one person, they can sweep you under the rug, when you include many people, especially top dogs, they don't want to be called out.

Woman... I wish I'd had you in my neighbourhood when those council (and lawyer) bastids decided it was okay and legal to break parts of my house during their friggen storm-water upgrade.

I'm a machine when I need to get stuff done for my home and family. Have a harder time doing things for myself, but don't mess with my home and kids.

Talking about me behind my back?
I am incensed.
I have never hit anything. Things hit me.
And if I did mow your mailbox over, I would certainly stop and offer to let you pay for the damages to my car. :)
LOL. Only thought of you because of the evidence left behind indicating excellent driving skills when faced with imminent peril. That sliding turn in wet grass to avoid hitting the telephone pole by inches, and getting back on the road, must have been a thing of beauty. :)

My feet are sore. Really sore.

A month ago I skinned the big toe on one foot, it was painful, but no big deal. I put some polysporin on it for about a week, just to make sure it didn't get infected. I did a bit of exercising and managed pull a muscle in the other foot, I assume because I was favouring the sore toe. It all seemed better, and a week ago, I went out for a long walk, wearing shoes that are a bit tight. They actually felt comfortable when I headed out, but by the time I got home, both feet had big blisters at the back. It wasn't until that pain subsided a bit that I realized how sore the toes were. And red.

Monday I decided to do a work out, since I haven't really done much lately. It's a walk at home program, and I managed a really good workout.

And now, the toes are all sore, but especially the one I originally scraped. It's red, and possibly a bit swollen. The other foot, the muscle is cramping and sore again.

I really wanted to do a workout again today, but all shoes cause some pain. I debated doing it barefoot...but, with my luck I'd break an ankle.

So....no exercising for me.

Apparently I'm grumpy this week. Glad this thread is here for me to vent.

~~~~
I was watching the news. Canadian station, but they were talking about the shooting in the US. Commercial break, and there is cute little Kaley Cuoco talking about stopping the seal hunt in Canada. Send $19 a month and you can get this t-shirt she's wearing to show your support to stop these innocent animals from being injured and killed.
And I'm thinking....in your (Kaley's) country people, innocent people are being gunned down. Why not give people a cute little t-shirt for supporting efforts to stop that?
~~~

I am not trying to start a political debate. I value human life above animal life. Not all agree with me. I am just venting about yet another celebrity who ignores what is happening in their own back yard while coming here to stop what they view as wrong.

I just don't care anymore. GAH! I hate to talk/think about money.

My ears! I hate her. :suspicion:

She probably sounds like that all the time in everyday situations.

Waiter! Waiter! need ice! Why don't I have more ice? Waiter!

ok, that was mean. my mood.

If you're mean then I'm the meanest...I was hoping the bear would get away from the kayak and eat the woman's face, just to stop the noise coming out of her.
