Eff your co-workers; forget them. Apart from speaking to your boss, put in in writing afterwards to him and HR. When stuff like this happens, as difficult as it is, take the emotion out of the equation and put it on record. I've learned the value of that by virtue of dealing with enough idiot managers in my career.
not_nadine report it to OSHA- violation of safety procedures. Not to mention sex discrimination. Same job/ same safety rules.
They are only doing this because OSHA came. I could not believe they were not wearing any safety gear. At all. Even full time shop guys.

My family irritates me to no end. That is an understatement. That is why I am angry today.

I'm angry because our power went out for 3 hours. No wind or storm, just *poof*
Well then. I stirred a pot in that place. I've never done that before - or had the need to. And it's not like me to cause a fuss, but I had enough.
Called boss, saying personal day. He has been out of town, was not there.
He said we will talk on Monday. Left me a big email. Saying he knows it not about the shoes.. 'one of the team' 'no demeaning intended' blah blah.
Just maybe I kicked the thinking of the place into at least the 1970's.

That's so wrong on so many levels.
I am a bit angry at my every day moments of self-sabotage that crop up no matter how well I'm doing ( or perhaps because of how well I'm doing)

Police officer was shot 7 times, ambushed - and in the face. He is still alive.
This is in a little borough that I grew up close to in Pa. Went to school in that town.
I am watching the press conference, and thinking of my nephew who is a police officer in the town over.
Everything used to be so home-town nice.
