I cut myself again on another impenetrable plastic package. I'd like a couple minutes alone with a person that designs these things. 
It's not a bad cut but it's one of the impossible places to keep a bandage attached. I poked a hole with the tip of a knife right in the soft area between my thumb and finger. I hate hand cuts because: 1. I use my hands and 2. it's impossible to wash your hands without getting the bandage wet.
Don't feel bad, I'm fine. I just want to vent some more about these plastic packages that are impossible to open. I'm going to ask an emergency room doctor sometime about how many people are treated because of these things. I'll bet these packages are more dangerous than fireworks.

Don't know if these actually work as I've never tried them, but just in case:
I have a pair of heavy duty kitchen scissors that I use to open those but sometimes even those have a hard time. Here's a link to some other ways to open those plastic packages.

Can you try this-
I bought a lawnmower blade once where the plastic went right through the bolt hole in the blade. That was the most ridicuosly difficult package I ever opened.
Scissors work good for most packages but even then, the edges of the plastic can still cut the hell out of you while you're trying to pry it apart.

It's like when I made the comment about not being able to wash my hands without getting the bandage wet. I forget about all of these products with individual wipes. I was born in the age of bar soap and that's all I know.

I'm angry about the state of society. It's a crap election with no clear cut winner who will want to do the right thing and help the lower to middle class.
We live in a world of racism, which is so not cool. We should be more tolerant of each other, more accepting. People talk of police shootings, but we don't know all the details to every one. Everyone has their own story and they are willing to tell it to defend themselves. But we don't stop to think about the other story. A person that was involved in a shooting by a cop...do we ever stop to think if the cop was scared? We can teach them how to pull over a speeding car, we can teach them how to use handcuffs, but we can't teach them not to be scared for their own safety...to make it home to their families...without incident.
Just like the person on the other end. You see someone with a gun (black, white, green...it doesn't matter) and you're going to be scared. Its in the unknown, not being sure of what will set them off...pull the trigger.
Pedophiles in the news (I live in PA, so we had to del with the Sandusky issue, still do), always reading about people with child porn...etc. People taking the loves of their children...CHILDREN. Someone who has not had a chance to REALLY LIVE. To know love...to read Stephen King.

I use super glue. It's a chef thing. We use band aids...hot sauté pans...and super glue.
Yea but once it's stuck to your fingers, it's jus about impossible remove.Tried removing them with acetone, olive oil, baby oil.
It takes a while.
